Learn about local Underground Railroad history through experiential

documents found online and at Morley Library and the Lake
County Historical Society.

Use research findings to create your own experiential learning
unit. We will also discuss how the Common Core Standards
supports inquiry-based learning, formative assessment, self-assessment
and peer assessment.

Learn how to support independence in student research. We will
deconstruct the specific standards that align to research and presentation.
